| Welcome to the Website of Tribal Praise Ministries. Our strong emphasis here is the ministry and teaching of worship to the highest degree: lifestyle worship. With the high call of taking worship to the nations of the world, Tribal Praise Ministries is truly blessed for the doors that God has opened to fulfill this mission. Our vision here at Tribal Praise Ministries is to bring greater understanding of what God is saying in this hour regarding the ministry of worship. The focal points of our vision is to:
Dr. Juan Lopez, is Pastor and President of Tribal Praise Ministries, an international ministry based out of Southern California. He also serves as the Commissioner for Latin University of Theology Asia, whose corporate offices are in Inglewood, Ca. As Commissioner of L.U.T. Asia, he travels to third world countries where he trains and works with local leaders to establish University extensions that serve as educational training centers for present and future leaders. Dr. Lopez has also been called "to gather together" the Body of Christ from every nation, tribe, people and tongue for the purpose of building unity within the Body, and bringing together corporate worship. For him it all began when the Lord spoke into existence the ministry which was formed out of revelation stemming from several key Scriptures; Revelation 7:9-10, Genesis 49:1-2, 28, Judges 1:1-3, and 1 Corinthians 12. The first one says in Revelation 7:9-10, "After these things, I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb." I feel the Lord spoke to me and said, "This is what my people will be doing ultimately in eternity. Standing together from all walks of life; from various backgrounds, diverse cultures and generations, yet standing together to worship the One Father of all; and Jesus the Lamb who paid the price for all." The picture was an incredible one. Diverse people from different cultures and generations and time periods bringing their own different expressions of worship before the ONE God...what a beautiful picture! So diverse-yet they ALL worshiped one God together. Then I felt the Lord say, "Why aren't they practicing now, what they ultimately will be doing in eternity? Start gathering them now!!" The 2nd scripture comes from Genesis 49: 1-2, 28 where we're told that Israel called for his sons "to gather together". He gathered them together "to speak to them" (vs. 1), so "they could hear" (vs. 2) and so that "he might bless them" (vs. 28). We see in vs. 3-27 that they were different in their giftings and callings, but these 12 brothers which represents the 12 tribes, as diverse as they were, were still brothers of ONE father. The 3rd scripture comes from Judges 1:1-3 where the children of Israel had been advancing in the taking of their promised land, and during the course of their possessing the land, their leader Joshua dies. Then they inquire to the Lord asking, "Who will go up first to go for us against the Canaanites (the principalities and giants in your region) to fight against them?" And the Lord answered them and said, "Judah (Praise) shall go up; behold I have given the land into his hand." Wow!! The Lord is saying that praise shall go up and I have given the land to the people who praise me...I have given their promised inheritance into their hands! Judah then does an interesting thing...he goes to his brother Simeon and says, "Come up with me to my allotted territory, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I will likewise go with you to your allotted territory." There is an important dynamic here that can't be missed...Judah is essence was saying to his brother Simeon, "I need your strengths and gifts, and together we can accomplish so much more...if one can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand to flight." And that's just what they did. Unity and power! Lastly, in 1 Corinthians 12, which we know speaks of "Spiritual Gifts", also speaks of "Unity and Diversity in One Body". This is important because every part plays an important role in the function of the Body. As we know, every part is different and diverse in it's function and expression. Verses 20-24 speak of the "body parts" honoring one another, which brings honor to the Head. As a result of these revelations in the Scriptures, Dr. Lopez has been networking with various churches and ministries to bring unity in the Body. He has also joined forces with other global ministries who share the same passion. We need God's blessing, we need His Life forevermore to come into our regions. For this reason Tribal Praise Ministries is taking the message of Kingdom worship and corporate unity to the nations of the world. Our process of worship ministry training is five-fold:
As a ministry, we believe in the importance of "equipping God's people for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God" (Eph. 4:12-13), and that is what we are called to do. | More and more of God's people in the Body of Christ are realizing the importance of coming together in unity and corporate worship within the Body. Many have prayed for an outpouring in their region but because of the lack of unity, God could not come. Psalm 133 says, "How good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity...for there (where unity is) the Lord commanded the blessing--Life forevermore." |
