A Worship Ministry for Every Nation, Tribe, People & Tongue!

What an honor and blessing it is to be able to minister to people from every nation, tribe, people & tongue! We count it such a joy and privilege to work with Pastors, worship leaders, government and city officials, schools, business owners, and people from every walk of life. In a world that is ever changing, we need His presence, favor and blessing to be made manifest if we are to have an impact in a world that desperately needs answers. We need to see his Kingdom come, His will be done on the Earth as it is in Heaven. Here at Tribal Praise Ministries we are thankful for the opportunities to travel the nations and teach the unchanging principles as taught in the Word of God regarding lifestyle worship, while ministering in the ever-changing expression of worship through music. Our worship ministry training is five-fold: Awaken, Train, Monitor, Nurture & Deploy. Here's how we break it down:Awaken: To help others recognize their gift and call to worship of GodTrain: Teach about our TWA: thoughts, words and actions and how we process in order to BECOME the expression of worship in all that we think, say and doMonitor: To disciple individuals towards attaining maturity in their call to live a life of worshipNurture: To encourage, love and support individuals as they move towards their destinyDeploy: Commission worship ministers and leaders for local, national & international works of serviceAs a ministry, we believe in the importance of 'equipping God's people for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God' (Eph. 4:12-13), and that is what we are called to do. The Amplified Bible teaches us in Romans 12:1 that we are to 'make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.' The goal daily is to become more and more like Jesus in all that we think, say and do, so as we daily make a decisive dedication of our members and faculties (our mind, thoughts, eyes, ears, hands, feet, etc) and do our best to make to pleasing onto God, it says that He accepts it as your reasonable service and spiritual worship...that's good news! 2 Corinthians 3:18 further declares, 'But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.' Our MusicOur music is a brand that mixes both traditional and non-traditional, contemporary and non-contemporary in it's style. It's prophetic and apostolic in nature, with a sound and style that is able to reach people from every walk of life and every generation...touching people from every nation, tribe, people and tongue. On the one hand, they are the well known praise and worship songs as we know them, familiar and easy to follow. On the other hand, they are free-flowing rhythms that come from the resident creative Spirit that lives within us, and at times in the midst of 'birthing' these new songs, the flow is very open and vulnerable. Because of the creative anointing of His Spirit which resides in each of God's redeemed people, many people don't realize that these songs and compositions are being spontaneously birthed in the moment. We are instructed to sing the 'new song' that aligns itself with Heaven's song. In the AMP Bible, Isaiah 42:10 instructs us to, "Sing to the Lord a new song...sing a song such as has never been heard in the heathen world!" Often this happens in the midst of extreme spiritual warfare or in the midst of finding ourselves lost in deep intimacy with God. Many times we have seen God's powerful Spirit manifest in such an anointed way that there is healing, deliverance and freedom for many in the moment of His divine presence.In the forming of some of our new songs, some choruses may seem repetitious or long to the casual listener because of the apostolic and prophetic decrees and declarations being made. This is both the pain and the joy of prophetic ministry. Since at times the song is forming in the moment, one song can fall apart while another one comes together, as we trust in the flow of the Spirit. Warfare leads to victory, victory to joy, joy to intimate communion, and so on. In the midst of this vulnerable place, sometimes our humanity shows. As we step into singing these new songs of the Lord, Kingdom songs are birthed in the earth. The word 'new' in the Greek is 'kainos' which means: recently made, fresh, unused, unworn, of a new kind, unprecedented, novel, uncommon, unheard of. Therefore we are instructed to sing fresh, uncommon, unheard of songs that are of a new kind! We had considered going back and 'perfecting' some of the musical pieces that were born prophetically, but ultimately decided that the perfection of this music was in its imperfection. Much like the prophetic lifestyle – yielded to the Spirit and Voice of God, ready for change at a moment's notice.We invite you to experience and enter in to this musical journey not as entertainment, but as a quest for the heart of the Father, the mind of Jesus Christ and the voice of the Holy Spirit. It is our hope that you will be enriched and drawn closer to Him and His Kingdom which is inside of you.

WHO ARE WE?

Dr. Juan Lopez

Juan Lopez is the Founder and Pastor of Tribal Praise Ministries, an international ministry established in 2002. Juan shares that his high call is the ministry and teaching of lifestyle worship. He has been in ministry since 1987, serving in various aspects of church leadership and ministry development, with an emphasis on worship ministry, training and team development. He is the author of the book, 'From Deliverance to Destiny,' a book written on the subject of lifestyle worship. Dr. Lopez currently serves as Pastor On Call at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. He also serves as a Deputy Commissioner for the Latin University of Theology based in Inglewood, CA, where he works with University officials to bring honor and recognition to men and women around the world for their work in ministry, government, business, education and social justice. Juan is married to Irene Lopez, his lifelong partner of 33 years, and together they have 3 children.

Dr. Irene Lopez

Irene Lopez received her Masters Degree in Education in 1978 and served 31 years in Public Education. She served for 15 years as Principal over several schools, and during her last 3 years in Public Education she served as Director of Special Education & Pupil Services for Little Lake City School District in Los Angeles. She retired in 2010 and is now utilizing her many years of leadership development experience to help develop schools and effective leadership around the world. She received an Honorary Doctorate in 2006 from Latin University of Theology for her many years of influential service in Public Education. She is currently enrolled in the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA and is in her 2nd year there. Dr. Irene Lopez brings vast knowledge and experience to improve educational structures and advance Kingdom influence.
